Wellness

New Leaf Clubhouse assists members in the process of becoming aware of and making choices towards a healthy lifestyle.

Morning Stretch

This is a great way to start your day. This member led activity will increase your range of motion, gain more flexibility and improve your movement.

Mindfulness 

In this group you will practice different exercises to improve focus, attention, self-awareness and learn  how incorporating mindfulness into daily life can be helpful. Mindfulness practice has been proven to reduce stress and help cope with anxiety / negative emotions, as well reduced perception of pain. Every  second Thursday (check calendar for dates).

Men's Group

This group gives our members who identify as male the chance to speak on things that pertain to males only.
This group takes place on alternating Tuesdays with women's group.​
​

Women's Group

The Women’s Group gives our members who identify as females the chance to speak on things that pertain to females only.
This group takes place in the community on alternating Tuesdays with Men's group.

Meditation Techniques

Learn deep breathing and stress relief techniques for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness.
​

Home Based Exercises

Learn and practice exercises you can do at home to improve your physical and emotional well being. Learn how to use resistance bands, mat routines for core conditioning, principles of exercise, how to manage your health with exercise and more.

WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan)

​WRAP is a seven session workshop to help members grow their wellness.  Based on the 5 key concepts of recovery

This group is facilitated by trained clubhouse staff and a peer support worker.

Recovery Support Training (RST)

​Recovery support Training is a Fraser Health program delivered in partnership with Clubhouses and the Peer Support program. It is run  by one Clubhouse staff facilitator and one or two Peer facilitators.
​
The goal of the RST Program is to provide self improvement, recovery education, and relationship developmental skills, for people with mental illness. It will provide valuable and prerequisite education for those who have the skills and the desire to work in human services.  
RST is a prerequisite for Peer Support Training.Check monthly calendar for next start date.

BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER (BPD) SOCIETY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

Support and information group for those with BPD and their family members. You are not alone!
In-person meetings every Tuesday from 7 to 9pm at the Clubhouse 
Online meetings every Wednesday at 7pm PST
