New Leaf Clubhouse offers leisure and recreational services assisting members to structure their time, balance their life, optimize a healthy lifestyle, and increase participation, integration and independence in the community.

MORNING Walk

Join staff for a few laps around the New West high school oval.

Karaoke

Sing to your heart’s content with your favorite songs. Sessions are facilitated by a member every Tuesday.

Outings

This is the perfect opportunity for members to gather together to enjoy some new and/or well known places and events that take place in our beautiful city. There may be a minimal charge for some of these outings.

Coffee and conversation

Bring your ideas for conversation topics and enjoy a drink over a variety of member led conversations.

Guitar lessons with kelly

These lessons start with the basics and gradually enhance your playing skills.

Take time out of your day to enjoy a game of Bingo. You may win a prize and it is free!

arts and crafts

This group offers a variety of different projects that can be taken home upon completion.

Baseball

​New Leaf All Stars Baseball team start practice in May. Every June, the New Leaf All Stars challenge the ACT team from New West Mental Health to a friendly baseball game and BBQ. after the game. This is to give an opportunity for both members and the ACT team to get together in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Regular season starts in July where we play other clubhouses every Thursday evening.  All equipment is supplied. We end the season with a round-robin double knockout tournament. After the season, the team has a baseball banquet where we have a nice lunch and give out team awards. All members are welcome to play or come to watch and cheer on the team.

Floor Hockey

All equipment supplied, and go out for refreshments after games. All members are welcome to play.
