New Leaf Clubhouse
NOTICE'S AND UPDATES:
New Leaf Clubhouse is committed to providing our members with support services they need through the COVID 19 response period. In order to accomplish this, while ensuring we maintain safe practices and reduce risks where possible, we will be adapting some of our delivery methods.
New Leaf clubhouse will be offering the following services and programs to our members;
1. Therapeutic Volunteer Program
2. Members outreach program
3. Friday Member Munchies
New Leaf Clubhouse has made the following adaptations to the delivery of our services and programs:
1. T.V.P. Participants will be paid whether they volunteer or not, and cheques will be mailed out to participants.
2. Staff will make outreach phone calls to every member. We will discuss and offer support with their overall well being, mental and physical health, medications and food supplies. If needed staff will set up 1 to 1 appointments.
3. Member Munchies will be held Friday's 1 pm. to 2 pm. First come first served, food items will be distributed from media side door. We will be enforcing social distancing.
4. Members who require one to one support need to make an appointment with staff.

C. social distancing will be adhered too
D. Working area will be sanitized before and after each appointment.
New Leaf Clubhouse and Fraser Health will continue to work together to review the services, programs, and adaptive measures for delivering service weekly during COVID 19 response period. We will continue to provide timely updates as our services evolve along with COVID 19 response.
Next update will be Thursday December 31, 2020.

New Leaf Clubhouse members are adults who live with a serious and persistent mental illness. New Leaf provides a member-directed, and led programs to enhance work skills and habits, foster independence and develop meaningful relationships.
We provide psychological rehabilitation programs in four specific domains:

Admission criteria
•Priority is given to New Westminster residents; however, some members may come from surrounding communities.
•You are between 19 and 65 years of age.
•You are experiencing serious and persistent mental illness and are stabilized on medication, if required.
•You are registered with the New Westminster Mental Health Centre (NWMH). If you are not registered with NWMH, you may attend upon mutual agreement between the Clubhouse and NWMH.
•You do not pose a threat to the general safety of other members.
•You are between 19 and 65 years of age.
•You are experiencing serious and persistent mental illness and are stabilized on medication, if required.

Referral process
Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Thursday: 9:00 am. - 2:00 pm for all members and 2:00 pm. - 6:00 pm. for the Young Adults Group. Saturday: 10:00 am. - 2:00 pm. members only Saturday Social. First Friday of the month CLOSED at 12:45 pm for administration Sunday and Statutory Holidays: Closed. |
